Best sipped neat at 56.4%, where the ripe apricot and mirabelle fruit really come forward. This is a lighter, tropically aged Port Mourant — pale, fruit-forward and sweet, with dark chocolate, spice and a glue-like technical edge. Several tasters note it's less woody and less deep than a typical PM, with one calling out a surprising licorice finish. It grows on you over repeat pours.

Unfortunately not the best Port Mourant. Has a strong nose, which for me consists mainly of leather, otherwise you can still recognize spice. The palate is also spicy, with slight notes of chocolate and vanilla.

Port Mourant with nice sweetness and great fruitiness (especially apricots and mirabelles). The palate lacks a bit of complexity, but still a great Guyana rum for enjoyable evenings.

A good Port Mourant with a light color, very concentrated in ripe fruit and soft in the mouth. Nice balance with 56% supporting a good long finish.

The rum has a very strong aroma, spicy and sweetish, something like glue.The taste is also strong, dark chocolate, spicy. Somewhat reminiscent of a whiskey.The finish is relatively short.

In the aroma I smell fruit, especially apricots, but also texhnic notes of glue. After sipping, the sweetness is dominant, which is made up of fruity flavours, but slowly gives way to tongue vibrations and a pleasant spiciness. The finish is medium-long.

Yeast brine bran muffin treacle sweet long PM! I love rums like this that are both complex, interesting, and delicious. Guests love this bottle too. A completely new flavour profile for me, which I presume in continentally aged PM. Amazing value, which affects my score by 0.2.

A very pleasant rum with a delicious aroma and taste. I didn't like it at all the first time I tested it, but the second, third and then the next time I liked it more and more. A very pleasant drink for TV evenings. I'm already at the bottom so will definitely order more bottles.
