CDI Bellevue Guadeloupe (Bottled for Denmark) 1998
"A must try if you like Guadeloupe rums," as one Danish taster put it. This 1998 Bellevue leans dry and classic — caramel and vanilla up front, then oak, nutty spice and a light smoky note. Several call it dark and woody with mineral depth; a couple find it hot, so a drop of water and a short rest help.

- Dry, balanced

08.03.2024 Tasting with Romhatten. Retasting and I still like it a lot. ----------------------- Had a wonderful tasting event yesterday with only good CDI rums. This one is the third one of the six. Again a bottling for Denmark that hits the spot. A very nicely finished rum from Guadeloupe. Well balanced with a really nice palate and nose. If it's too sharp for you try to add a drop or two of water. Make sure that you rest it for 10-15 minutes before sipping. A must try if you like Guadeloupe rums.

Man skulle ikke tro den var 18 år på fad her. Lidt sprittet i duften men mild og rund.

Once again a very good 1998!
