One of the best, perhaps even the best from A.H. Riise. You get what you expect: a sweet, fruity rum that tastes more like a liqueur. With its caramel, banana and citrus notes, it is quite complex and balanced. The finish is characterized by mint and coconut. Lovers of dry rums should steer clear of this one. I find it very tasty but the price is outrageously high.

A very nice and complex rum. It’s a bit oily, with notes of cinnamon, spicies, vanilla and maybe some mint, caramel. The nose is almost identical with the taste. One of the best rums AH Riise has ever made and if you are able to get one of the 6000 produced bottles, don’t hesitate.

07.12.2023 retasting and it lost some points. Very sweet release. ----------------- This rum is a blend of solera rums where one set is aged up to 40 years and the other for up to 21 years. All aging has been done in Europe so a very controlled aging process. This is another of those rums where people can agree to disagree. A sweet rum that is pretty well balanced. The price tag is a bit high compared to what you get.

If this one wouldn't be so f#£_@ng expensive I would say it is the best of riise and I would buy it every time the well goes dry. What a shame. Absolutely ridiculous price tag. Coconut is most prominent all over. Great sweet ,,rum,,.

Fruity top note, citrus and very subtly a bit of coconut. Very mild, oily and velvety. Coconut intensifies, citrus and vanilla as base notes. Longer finish, coconut and vanilla remain.

Likely my favorite from this company, and the one that made me want to try to further my taste-buds into the rum world. Managed to get one of 6000 bottles, before the prices got crazy. It has a distinct sweetness in the nose, and citrus, winegum and hints of leather in the notes. Today, this would not classify as rum. Edit: the score is still the same in 2024, even though I'm more into higher ABV% spirits

Excellent meditation rum of a certain level. Amber color on the nose, I was impressed by a mint scent that is inhaled on the taste but does not disturb the other flavors of vanilla and caramel

Reminds me of the Bitter. Sweet and herbal notes dominate. Peppery start quickly disappears in favor of herbs and fruit notes. Very mild and harmonious. Finish surprisingly unspectacular. Overall not my thing and clearly different from its brothers. Therefore the urgent recommendation to get a sample before buying the house’s flagship and then being disappointed.
