17.10.2015 Meeting up with friends at this waterfront hotel. Notes Medium dark colour. Nose Fresh, wood, light roasted, floral, cherry, dried fruit. Palate Oily, fresh, wood, roasted, vegetal, floral, cherry, dried fruit, light nutts, ginger. Finish Medium long, wood, citrus, light grass, light ginger.

For the relatively low ABV, a nice intensity, plus the typical J.M profile. However, the complexity leaves a bit to be desired; there are more interesting bottlings out there.

Good, less fruity than the nose suggests, a little salty, spicy.
