12.12.2025 Retastings and I still like it a lot. This time I have the time to actually let it rest properly. I can detect fruits and all the traditional Caroni notes as well as light fuel notes. ----------- This is probably one of the best from Caroni. A very elegant and well balanced rum.

Third and last release from this famous magnum serie. Nose is absolute madness showing off impressive complexity and balance. Palate is also very good but slightly too dry and bitter for my taste. Still a top class rum though ! 🤙🏼🇹🇹

Bitter - sour and even a little bit sweet ... Caroni is a distillery from Trinidad that produced rum at the height of its glory, which was added in a ratio of 1:10 to the naval blend. It was too strong and weird to be pleasant on the tongue. In 2000 the distillery ended production and was closed. Only in 2010 did tasters appear who liked the rum precisely for its special taste. And interest grew. Caroni belongs to the category of rums "you need to try before you die." I recommend it, Caroni is really a unique rum.

It's intense! Very complex, hard to pin down and delicious! A woody and fruity depth. Powerful and round . It's really excellent 🔥The rubber is still slightly present the next day when you wake up.
