Anyone easing into aged agricole without a big grassy slap will find this friendly. Six years in oak rounds off the cane-juice edges: apricot, orange and melon on the nose, then grapefruit, a little vanilla and soft wood on the palate. Pleasant and easy at 42%, but several tasters felt the flavours flatten before they peak. A gentle sipper more than a showpiece.

One of the last ones I tried at the German Rum Fest and it aas also a bit disappointing. The nose and palate are OK, but it's like something is missing or the flavours flatten before they peak. Probably a rum most people can drink.

Al naso è boscoso, un po' di vernice, fumoso e speziato Al palato è delicato con frutta dolce, qualche medicinale, frutti secchi, leggerissima affumicatura, ma resta tutto molto leggero

L'ensemble est très correct, le nez n'est pas agressif. Et sur le caramel. L'attaque est franche, caramélisées,avec un retour d'épice. Le final est court.
