Fresh sugarcane and wood up front, with vanilla and a nutty, floral edge that tasters find surprisingly put-together for only three years. It reads younger-drinker-friendly but still carries that recognizable Bally character. A couple of people picked up a saline note that didn't work for them, and the finish runs a touch short, but most call it a relaxed, easy way into agricole.

Surprisingly complex for a 3-year-old young rum. Nice nutty, floral fruity profile and typical Bally DNA. Very mild and pleasant; there are few other such young agricoles that deliver like this in comparison.

The first nose is agricultural, well wooded, rather incisive but pleasant, comparable to Dillon XO I think. Nice vanilla notes, it smells like quality rum without being a multitude of flavors. The first taste is quite original for an agricole, fresh, woody, then more cane-like. On the finish, you get the impression that it's young, but that's not a pejorative; it has the freshness of cane with less wood. The nose becomes increasingly pastry-like with aeration. I prefer it to some older, more expensive rums. The finish is correct, perhaps a little short.
