Un nez prometteur et élégant qui confirme en bouche. Un peu jeune mais on sent un certain raffinement. C'est très agréable et frais, très facile à boire. Beaucoup de plaisir et qui donne envie d'élargir les dégustations chez Père Labat.

A very drinkable agricole rum. Lot of guave and mezcal in the nose, a bit weird but flavourwise very balanced. Very little wood but not spirity. Lot of spirit character. I liked it a lot.

A permanent range rum that shows elegance and complexity despite its young age. The nose is very earthy, with hints of grass, hay and sugarcane. There's a hint of musk, candied fruit (citrus) and spices that accompany a light woodiness. A dry, simple but well-crafted profile. The attack on the palate continues along the vegetal path, with both freshness and dry herbs like straw. The profile gains in finesse and depth thanks to the spices (licorice, pepper, vanilla) and this fruity side on brandy, dried fruit and orange zest. The profile is suave and fine, very pleasant and aromatic for its degree. The finish prolongs the pleasure with a round, unctuous side of brown sugar and caramel. The spices become spicier, accompanied by vegetal and earthy notes. A Père Labat of finesse, which evolves as the tasting progresses and is very pleasant to drink.

The advent calendar from La Route des Rhums will soon be over. Here's another nice Agricole. Very spicy on the nose, pepper stands out. Also very peppery on the palate, and we also have Agricole and sugar cane.

A surprisingly easy to drink Agricole. I think this would be a very good rum to start your journey down the Agricole lane. The nose is fresh and truly Agricole with cane, pepper and herbal notes as well as light pastry and orange peel. The palate is that of an Agricole and fresh, lightly dry and velvety with cane, pepper herbs and vanilla. The finish is medium long and lightly dry with vanilla, brown sugar and light molasses. Price to quality is very good and I decided to order a few bottles 😊

This rum has a grassy/green nose with butterscotch mixed in. Those grassy/green notes are carried into the palate with some tropical fruits and orange peel added in. The rum has a medium finish that changes from green to more woody and spice notes including vanilla.

In the nose we find at first intention the identity of a Père Labat : nice floral aromas but especially herbaceous. But then we find candied fruits and it is similar to a brandy. It is rather intriguing. In mouth it is dry and rather well balanced. It is peppery, vanilla, roasted and sprinkled with fresh herbs. It's very fragrant and tastes a bit like cognac. The finish is sweet on a peppery-herbal profile. This is a very aromatic and singular profile. It intrigues with its particular earthy profile.
