Expect banana, pineapple, apple and orange blossom up front, then roasted wood, coffee and caramel with a slightly bitter, dry finish. Several found the palate quieter than the nose, and at 57.5% a few felt the alcohol could sit better. Straightforward, young, and easy to like.

Super fruchtiger Low Ester OWH Hampden. Nicht sehr komplex, aber rund & stimmig.

Dieser OWH ist toll! Ausgewogen mit einer harmonischen Erweiterung durch die Fasseinflüsse. Im Mund kommen schöne Röstaromen (Kaffee) dazu, was zusammen mit den Früchten und Karamell sehr gut passt. Gefällt!

Meine Entdeckung des Abends. Tiefe Cognac Noten. Ein toller Sipper. Schwere Nusstöne. Gleichzeitig leicht zu trinken hintenraus kaum Wechsel, sehr geradlinig aufgrund des geringen Alters.

Tasting-Abend bei Dr. Django (Jamaica): Diese Sonderabfüllung macht richtig Spaß. Gegenüber der normalen Version entwickelt diese Abfüllung mehr buttrige Fruchtsäure und weniger Würze und Holz, was der Aromenvielfalt einen Gewinn bringt. Daher geht sie als deutlicher Sieger hervor
