Dieser Uitvlugt hat sehr viel Intensität und Körper für seine 46 %. Die Nase ist schön würzig, ledrig mit interessanten Tönen von Trockenfrüchten, Apfel und einer gewissen Nussigkeit. Am Gaumen ist er wieder sehr kraftvoll und zur oben genannten Aromatik kommt eine tolle Pfeffrigkeit dazu. Dann folgt ganz dezent eine interessante Gumminote, welche ich so auch bei manchen Jamaika Rums entdeckt habe. Alles wird begleitet von einer schönen Karamellnote. Der Abgang ist mittellang und würzig, nussig. Leder, Fass und Mokka werden begleitet von Trockenfrüchten und Tabak. Eine sehr schmackhafte Abfüllung. Danke an @BananaJoe für das Sample 😀

29.03.2014 Whiskymessen Met a few new rum guys that have stuck until this day. We all went back home to pick up some bottles that we shared at the event. Notes Medium dark in colour. Nose Wood, light roasted, berries, dried fruit, anise. Palate Oily, wood, light smoke, cherry, plum, light anise, light salt, faint chocolate. Finish Medium to long and oily, wood, light roasted, cherry, berries, light salt.

8,1:On the nose, roasted, smoky wood notes are the first thing we notice, with leather, iodine, caramelized burnt sugar, nuts and lemon peel, spices like pepper and cinnamon. On aeration, dried fruits join the game, coppery touch, medicinal notes. 7,6:On the palate, the attack is sweet, slightly imbalanced with roasted wood notes like nuts, leather, coffee, caramel, brown sugar, smoky and spicy, some dried fruits are present, flowery molasses, otherwise quite thin.Resting the rum brings out rubber, berries like strawberry. 7,7:The finish is a bit dry, slightly tannic, more balanced as before, coppery, the wood is spicy, smoky, roastedness brings mocha, dark chocolate, caramel, leather.The molasses is flowery, some tea pops out, the fruits are dried, citrus and cherry is present..
