Citrus, spice and fresh-cut sugarcane up front, with a long woody-banana finish that several French tasters call out as the highlight. It's powerful but stays balanced — concentrated rather than hot. One reviewer got apricot on the nose but fresh mushroom on the palate, so the cask-strength agricole character can read unexpectedly. A well-made Marie Galante rhum that rewards a little air in the glass.

A rather interesting nose that reveals itself with aeration. Citrus fruits and spices. Powerful on the palate! Smooth and balanced, concentrated strength. Truly delicious❤ A rather long finish on wood and banana.

Wieder mal ein Destillat, das an Nase und Gaumen sehr verschieden daherkommt. Ich rieche Aprikosen, aber schmecke eindeutig frische Pilze, Champignons. Mit Sicherheit ein handwerklich sehr guter Rhum, aber am Gaumen einfach nicht so ganz meinen Geschmack treffend.
