Tasting from a half-full bottle in a smoking pub. I'm confused: was there really a Long Pond in the glass? Smelled and tasted nothing like Jamaica, let alone Long Pond. It was rather on the sweet side, alcohol fantastically integrated. My companion said: Rum feels perfumed, like a substance from an East German hair salon. I just say: surprising but easy to drink. Unfortunately with a way too short finish.

26.01.2013 Had a nice meet up with other nerds at this old hotel. Afterwards some played at the Casino. Notes Light to medium dark colour. Nose Light wood, faint smoke, fruity, citrus, ester. Palate Warm, wood, light roasted, fruity, pineapple, citrus, ester. Finish Medium long, wood, faint smoke, dried fruit, pineapple.

Quite an unusual LP....not really my thing.. unusually sweet and has something of burnt plastic. The 86er is definitely the much better choice here. Unfortunately, it doesn't suit my taste at all.
