Überreife Früchte, natürlich Erdbeerjoghurt, Menthol. Am Gaumen anfangs mit der vollen Ladung und zum Abgang hin leider stark schwächelnd. Der Alkohol ist gut integriert und der Abgang eher alkoholisch. Ein weiterer sehr guter Savanna, der seinem Preis aber nicht gerecht werden kann.

Ice candy, strawberry Campino sweets, peach and pineapple, cream sweets and olive brine at its best once again. Savanna is simply love 😅 it's surprisingly easy to drink overall, but it's still not top league. Alcohol could be a little better integrated.

Top Savanna! Just the right mix of wood and fruitiness. One does not meeti the typical "brachiality" of a Grand Aroma, but that's what makes it exciting! Beautiful cinnamon note.

Aromen von tropischen Früchten, Vanille, Crème brûlée und Zimt prägen die Nase kraftvoll. Die Gewürznoten wirken klar und komplex. Im Gaumen entfalten sich fruchtige Süße, Gebäcknoten und ein Hauch Mandel, begleitet von würziger Wärme. Der lange Abgang kostet durch seine vielschichtige Struktur und bleibt dicht und eindrücklich.

Intense savanna selected by wild parrot! Lots of spice plays a major role throughout the tasting! Fruity and citrusy nights make it very pleasant to drink! To my taste I am not crazy about it as a rum but I must say it is a nice selection of savanna!

Per la mia prima recensione su RumX ho deciso di raccontare le mie impressioni su questo rum!! Premetto che non sono un grandissimo fan dei Savanna ( De Gustibus ) ma questo imbottigliamento di The Wild Parrot è davvero notevole!Si tratta di un grand arôme con un alto contenuto di esteri.!Al naso avverto un sentore di vaniglia iniziale, seguito poi da vernice, smalto per unghie, plastica,cera e banane mature!Al palato lo trovo floreale, fruttato e catramoso allo stesso tempo, accompagnato da salamoia, lime e spezie!!Un alcool ben integrato ed un finale bello lungo anche se con una leggera nota amara, lo rende a mio avviso davvero un Rum ben fatto!!

This one was just to try another bottling and it was also pretty good. The barrel was pretty much absent in this particular one. The nose was well balanced and very fruity with nice spices. The palate was well balanced, warm and oily with lots of fruit and wonderful spices. In the back i get nuts and menthol. The finish is long and warm with vanilla, toffee and caramel (almost like toffifee).

Beautiful Grand Arôme from Savanna, which is somewhat milder than other representatives of the same genre - if you can speak of mild at all with Grand Arômes. All in all, a great rum, but in my opinion not enough for the Savanna top class.

die typischen Grand Arome Noten nach überreifen roten Früchten wie Sauerkirschen und Erdbeeren, zusammen mit einer intensiven Note nach dem Mark von Vanilleschoten strömen sofort in die Nase. Am Gaumen intensive Gewürze, aber auch eine deutliche alkoholische Schärfe.

Larmes amples et grasses. 👃 Grosse corbeille de fruits tropicaux (ananas, carambole, mangue) laissée trop longtemps au soleil. Vanille bourbon fraîchement coupée dans le sens de la longueur, magnifique ensemble d'épices de cuisine, tant salées (poivre rose de la Réunion, Colombo) que sucrées (cannelle, cardamone). Un trait de gingembre. De temps en temps, des fraises mixées en yaourt glacé avec sa vanille, délicieux. Puis, un retour sur des légumes vapeurs, cuisinés avec une sauce japonaise qui développe toutes sortes de conservation dans du vinaigre (saumure, olives, anchoïades). Fraîcheur sur de subtiles notes tantôt mentholées, tantôt réglissées. Belle intensité et combinaison quasi parfaite de tous ces arômes. 🤤 On reprend les mêmes et on recommence ! Début et milieu de bouche très intense, les saveurs surmûries des esters explosent dans le palais sous la forme de fruits gorgés de sucre et beaucoup trop mûrs (encore la mangue, l'ananas rôti, mais aussi la papaye et le fruit du jacquier). Par intermittence, j'y trouve aussi un joli caramel sur sa crème catalane qui vient contrebalancer avec le piquant plus extrême d'une foule de notes salées, sur la réglisse cuite, la sauce Nuoc-mâm, les tapenades... Finale qui perd malheureusement un peu trop vite en intensité des différents marqueurs susnommés. Verre vide très saumuré, tapenade, sucré salé sur la sauce soja, aspect lointain d'un boisé brûlé. Profil typique des GA qui fonctionne très bien avec moi, presque 90 et plus si la finale était plus marquée et longue.

Hello tout le monde pour bien attaquer la semaine quoi de mieux qu'un solide Savanna Wild Parrot 2007 ??? Embouteillé en 2018 avec un vieillissement tropical, il titre à un respectable 63.9 degrés. 👃 : Si vous avez la chance d'avoir une bouteille et que vous l'ouvrez pour la 1ère fois, il faut lui laisser une bonne aération et même quelques semaines d'oxydation avant qu'il puisse exprimer son potentiel. Quelle puissance !!!(mais comme Pirelli avec maîtrise) Aucun doute on est bien sur un savanna grand arôme ; le camphre (léger) mélangé au caramel revenu à la casserole amènent une note fraîche et gourmande. Le bonbon acidulé façon arlequin est également présent mais moins que sur des herr blanc par exemple. La banane flambée est également de la partie mais en second plan. Le menthol apporte encore une touche de fraîcheur. Ce nez me fait penser à un bonbon avec une face façon Werter's original boosté aux hormones et une autre face façon bonbon arlequin/Haribo acidulé. 👄 : Le tout 1er arôme que j'ai en bouche est le caramel et la banane flambée puis très vite le camphre et le menthol réchauffent bien la bouche et l'oesophage. Puis des notes légèrement amères boisées viennent titiller la langue. La finale est longue, boisée et enfin gourmande. A mon sens l'intensité des arômes fait de ce Wild Parrot un des tout meilleurs Savanna Grand Arôme que j'ai goûté. Certes ce n'est pas le plus complexe mais sa puissance aromatique combinée aux arômes gourmands et frais font de lui un must. Quand je pense qu'il a fini en soldes à l'époque aux alentours de 150 euros... 91/100.

Farbe: Kastanie Geruch: Fruchtig und dabei alkoholisch scharf. Obstsalat aus Melone, Mango, Passionsfrucht, Papaya und Pfirsich. Zudem cremig mit Werthers Original Sahnebonbons. Geschmack: Süß im Mund, fruchtig (Melone, Mango, Papaya, Pfirsich) und cremig mit Karamell. Vollmundig. Beim Schlucken fruchtig, alkoholisch und würzig. Sehr lecker. Abgang: Lang Fruchtig, vergoren und würzig. Dabei insgesamt rund. Trocken im Nachgeschmack. 89 Punkte
