Most helpful positive review
The best of the 4 blends tasted today for me. One where the two origins of the blend's rums complement each other without one overpowering the other. You have the indulgence and rigor of Réunion combined with the ripe fruits and varnished esters of Jamaica. A clear success. Edit: sensation confirmed after tasting again. Giving it some airing time does it a lot of good. Very evolving.

A very palatable blend. Lots of bright fruits, especially peach, pear and apple. The rum is very fruity, creamy and pleasing on the palate, perhaps a little too dignified and unexciting. Anything but funky. The finish is a little wilder, with marzipan and a little spice. Second tasting: +3

Also a very nice rum. The ester naturally stands out on the nose, with citrus fruits also coming to the fore. The same game on the palate, although I can still detect banana here. Alcohol well integrated. Delicious.

A rather light nose but unfolds well on the palate, nice length for a young product. Presumably WP, Hampden, Monymusk as well as Rivière du Mat. Beautiful discovery! In summary, my tasting notes: On the nose: Apple, Nutmeg, Pear, Papaya, Peaches On the palate: Varnish, Spices, Citrus, Peppery, Tropical fruits, Pineapple The finish rather oriented towards: Spices, Tropical fruits, Green apple

This rum is so fruity with green apples and grapes and in the taste also some banana present. So a really nice sip, although it has over 60%. Maybe not for everyday, but great for a nice christmas evening. Certainly one of my favourites in 2022.
