Pleasant, fairly sweet rum with a strong molasses and citrus aroma. For a rum made to please novices, it is produced with skill and commitment. It is a distillate that can be useful as a stepping stone to more complex rums.

Slightly earthy nose towards the end, sweet yet hints of spicy notes on the palate. Pleasant, making me want to go in for second and thirds

7,8:The nose is carried by a certain sweetness that develops well-known aromas of caramel, vanilla and sweet spices, orange peel . But it doesn't stop there, as it soon intrigues with a slightly smoky, oily facet and with gingerbread biscuits. With aeration, this mild smoky touch takes on just the right amount of fullness, forming a very pleasant balance with rounder notes. This brings to mind toasted wood, coconut, dried fruits, clove, cigar and even leather. 7,8:The palate is quite complex, yet soft and rounded. It immediately envelops the palate with its sweet, suave touch, then spreads out a very tender oak cask, filled with vanilla and mild spices, some herbal touch. A few toasty notes are picked up, with cocoa powder, in a rum honey studded with sweet spices, like cinammon and some red fruits-cherry, prunes, bourbony peaches, citrus, almond, even coffee. 7,5:The finish is delicious, medium with a lightly salted caramel and roasted palate with a wisp of drieness..

I'm not conquered... but I don't really like these ron that I find too caramel and sugar. I think it will appeal to connoisseurs because you can tell it's well done.

This is a very light yet delicate rum tha I'd classify as a good rum for starters. If you like Botran this one is a must try because it lines up pretty well with the Botran line of rums. With a bit more proof i think this one would have been a winner, but still a very good rum at the price tag.

Day 10 on 24 days of rum calendar. This one is much more sugary than the Rum Nation Demara. Dark copper pour. Some oak. A little vanilla, coconut.

Typischer mittelamerikaber.

Opravdu decentní vůně citrusů a sušeného ovoce s trochou vanilky a karamelu. Chuťově přijatelně sladké, do citrusů a vanilky.

Yet another sample of the 24 days of rum '24 which has a rather strong taste and nose of citruses, predominantly orange and mandarins. Nose is fresh with tropical fruits, orange peel and a little bit of alcoholic odour since the rum is only 4 YO. This renders into palate too with orange being on the front rounded in sweet vanilla taste with a bit spiciness of a pepper. Overall a delicious sample from Guatemala which is only up to 4 years old but bears more character than Zacapa.

Nose Sweet, caramel, sugary with a hint of candied orange. Not gonna lie, if I didn't taste it I would not give it a try Taste Sweet, but not overwhelming. Karmel spice, candanised fruits, some orange peel and some fresh citrus. Fruits are in background, there are not main taste of this rum Finish Short, sweetness quickly fades, after that I taste dark chocolate with coffee Nice rum. Easy sipper, sweet a bit sugary, but not bad. Spice with hint of candied orange gives some character, but nothing extra
