19.04.2019 Meeting up with some old colleagues at this wonderful hotel. Notes Medium dark in colour. Nose Light wood, faint roasted, pineapple, light ester, fruity. Palate Warm, light roasted wood, spicy, pineapple, light nutts, earthy, light herbs. Finish Medium long, light wood, fruity, faint cherry, spices, light herbs, faint chocolate.

The Hampden profile is realy low ... Hampden, legendarni jamajska destilerka, ktera krome rumu produkuje take alkohol do parfemu. Ve vsech rumech z teto destilerky ucitite divoke estery, po kterych cely vas organizmus nasakne vuni zluteho tropickeho ovoce - manga, papaji, anansu, broskvi. Jeden z rumu, ktere "must try before die"

Nice Hampden for sure, Jamaica can really be recognized here. As often, we have the overripe tropical fruits banana and pineapple, but also some ester is recognizable in this rum.

Nose, extreme varnish, strong glue. Nice esters. Overripe fruit. Fresh pineapple. Overripe starfruit. Brine. Fennel. Mouth, very ripe pineapple, banana, ground-rotted jackfruit left in the sun. Spices on cinnamon stick, cayenne pepper. Finishes with potted green olives.
