8,1:On the nose, tropical fruits like banana, spicy vanilla and roasted wood notes with caramel, pastry and nuts, slightly metallic and grassy, bump into our nosetrils. On aeration, the molasses is flowery and herbaceous, variety of confectionery notes like biscuits, fruit cake and cookie intermingle with ripe fruity tones with citrus and yellow fruits, strawberry.After a while, the rum becomes slightly darker with dark chocolate, perhaps cocoa, fudge, a bit smoky and spicier with ginger. 7,9:On the palate, the attack is fruity with tropical and yellow fruits, vanilla is omnipresent, roasted wood notes with butterscotch, various confectionery like pastry, biscuits, brioche, slightly sweet and spicy with baking spices, the molasses is herbaceous, grassy with hay.On oxidation, citrus, dried fruits and pineapple join the play, also some coffee, a whiff of bitterness. 7,8:The finish is medium long, dry, vanilla is again strong, the molasses is grassy, flowery, mineral, fruits tropical and yellow, the wood roasted, with tons of pastry.

Als Mixer ist er gar nicht mal so schlecht für mal schnell zwischendurch. Pur kann man schon die typischen Worthy Park Noten schmecken, aber diese Abfüllung schmeckt trotz dem geringen ABV sehr Alkoholisch, obwohl sie auch sehr dünn und verwässert ist.

A bit thin, first good WP notes, then more vanillin from the oak barrel, unfortunately quite alcoholic on the finish...
