Peach, honey and pear lead here — one taster half-joked it could pass for a fruit brandy if not for the light oak. It's a German-made, molasses rum aged three years, and it drinks sweet, mild and very fruity with only a faint whisper of ester and wood. Most agree it tastes sweetened, closer to a sweet fruit sipper than a classic Jamaican.

This rum is inspired by Jamaican rum and distilled from real Jamaican sugarcane. You can sense the Jamaican vibe in the background, as this rum is very fruity and possibly has some esters. However, one could also think it's a sweetened pear brandy. On the palate, besides the fruity sweetness, there is also a burning alcohol sharpness. But all of this is always overshadowed by a dominant honey/syrup note, which definitely indicates some adjustment was made and the final product leaves very mixed feelings.

Riecht sehr süß und schmeckt ebenso. Viel Honig und Vanille, Karamell. Mittellanger Abgang. Insgesamt eher für die Süssrumfraktion.

Nice smell and taste of peaches! Other than peaches you smell honey, sugar. In mouth it‘s very sweet. It has a light mild body. It‘s sweetened, isn‘t it? The finish is short with tastes of honey, sugar, vanilla with some notes of peaches and oak at the end. It‘s a good rum for desert. It‘s not what i like to drink, because it‘s very sweet(ened?) and to weak, light, without character or complexity

A sweet surprise during a visit at a friend's place. It is clearly sweetened, a liquor, but not a bad one: it's not overpowered by artificial flavour. Also, one can get a hint of wood and Funk, which makes it a bit more interesting. To me it is too sweet, but my wife liked it (she normally does not taste my samples).

I was able to taste it at the producer and it convinced me a lot. Since I don't really like very sweet rums, it didn't make it into my favorites. It's pleasantly mild in the mouth, very sweet and fruity, and has a rather short finish. P.S.: I still took a small bottle with me because you have to offer something for sweet rum lovers too 😏🥃

The bouquet is very fruity, clearly pear, peach, mirabelle, you might almost think it’s a fruit brandy if it weren’t for the slight wood note. The taste confirms it, the rum is relatively sweet, mild and very fruity. Honey and pear are clearly in the foreground, the slight wood note is still subtly present. Also light, barely noticeable ester notes. The finish is short, mild, sweet and fruity. Overall a good German rum, you just shouldn’t expect a real Jamaican, Cuban or Venezuelan. Drinks very pleasantly, but is not very complex, which is not meant negatively. It’s fun and very drinkable. Definitely suitable for beginners.
