Sipped neat, this pours on sweet and soft: raisin, prune, caramel and toffee with a clear Jamaican estery nose that most people spot right away. It's a dried-fruit-heavy, almost liqueur-like pour. The sweetness is the whole story — one taster called it "Jägermeister kind of sweet," and it can flatten the rest. Some love that; sugar-avoiders won't.

This rum smells of caramel, plum, and apricot. On the palate, woody notes, tropical fruits, and toffee. The finish leaves a roasted aroma. A well-balanced sweet rum that clearly shows its Jamaican origin.

#5361 28.05.2025 Running some samples while listening to some Goa Trance on Spotify. Nose Sweet, light, fruits, raisin, light vanilla, faint banana, faint glue. Palate Light oily, sweet, dried fruit, light orange, vanilla, light chocolate. Light banana. Finish Short, sweet, light wood, vanilla, light orange. Empty glass Vanilla, light chocolate, raisin, light orange.

Highly esterified, heavy rum dominated by dried fruits, almost liqueur-like. Very tasty, but due to its intense fruits it "saturates" the palate after one glass. Still highly recommended for fans of Jamaican ester bombs.

Pretty sweet entry-level rum. On the nose, a few ester notes surrounded by a distinct sweetness that continues on the palate. Definitely equipped with quite a few aromas, but clearly too much on the sweet side for me. There will certainly be some who like this drop because of the flavor profile, but it's not really my thing.
