Super nice! Clearly a rum for amateurs or beginners, we have vanilla, cane, anise. The nose is super vanilla, the palate rather on the anise. The finish is a bit short but well, it's super tasty and easy to drink.

I really don’t feel like there’s much going on here. It’s very straightforward with more woody and spice notes. It has a nice floral smell which is fairly round but the taste fell flat for me. Maybe I’m just spoiled with tasting cask strength stuff.

Der ist auch vollkommen okay. Hat eine leichte Süße zu bieten, Zuckerrohr ist definitiv erkennbar, aber auch dunkle Schokolade und Vanille. Ansonsten ist er noch recht pflanzlich, aber auch fruchtig (getrocknete Früchte).

14.08.2020 Relaxing meet up at a local restaurant for food and rum. Notes Medium dark in colour. Nose Fresh, light Agricole, light citrus, faint wood, anise, floral, dried fruit. Palate Fresh, light nutts, Agricole, plum, light citrus, vegetal, floral, faint wood, light licorice. Finish Medium long, light wood, vegetal, light floral, dried fruit.

Pleasant rum, I find the markers of manutea VO. A pastry rum, well rounded in the mouth. Long finish for this alcohol level.

It’s just ok. It’s not bad, just not a lot going on. Leans towards the aged wood characteristics but the spirit itself seems pretty simple.
