one of the best Panamas I've ever had. honest, dry, spicy and intense, nice inherent sweetness, cocoa bomb and dark chocolate and cocoa nibs. really great! and then a really authentic cookie dough note comes through at the end. just like I imagined the cookie dough rum to be, only honest and strong!

Bottle Market Bremen December 2025. So for an overproof definitely too sweet. Otherwise lots of chocolate, caramel, nuts and also cocoa. On the palate also caramel candy. It's okay so far, nothing more.

The biggest suprise on today’s random tasting from the menu. The 54% is well integrated. To be honest it is hidden by the sweetness, but the hell for Panama it is fun. I really liked it. Nose is intense.

Lovely! The most chocolatey rum in my history. The chocolate starts on the nose and presses very densely on the palate, sweetness is present and harmonizes perfectly. The aftertaste is slightly above average, also chocolate, a bit of spices and herbs. The barrel is somewhere very much in the background complementing the chocolate madness.

Direct competitor of Compañero Panama with same abv, same ,,chocolate,, taste and I thought they would be one and the same. They almost are, except Auténtico Nátivo is better. It's less harsh, softer in taste, more round and exceptionally balanced. There was something in Compañero's taste that was irritating me. I don't find anything irritating with this rum. This one is easily the best chocolate overproof rum. Period. There is also an element of spiciness to it. The only negative is very short aftertaste. PS: Try to pair it with a chocolate of your preference ;) I paired mine with dark chocolate with pieces of sour fruit in it and it was really amazing.

At first glance, it seems quite decent. But during tasting I felt it probably needs some added sugar. Taste-wise it's okay, but the overly dominant sweetness bothers me. The finish matches the price-performance ratio.

Received the sample if this rum, let's try it. Nose: Whaaaat ?! The're add some flavorings ? 'Cuz it 50 shades of chocolate. And, maybe some Confections & vanilla. That's all... Palate: Sweet. To sweet ... I'm not shure, that's a rum, more like the liquor. Some fudge, chocolate again. That's all... Aftertaste: middle to short, sweet, warm. Conclusion: it's not rum. I'm shure, that's a strong liquor with flavors.

Tasted after a good Foursquare...it doesn't take the template. Too much cocoa, too sweet overall - not bad but rather in the liqueur corner for me, not a rum that you enjoy on its own and let the flavor take effect.
