🥃 Saint Aubin Premium Black Rhum This Saint Aubin pleasantly surprised me. Produced from pure sugarcane juice according to the tradition of the French islands, it offers a rich and enveloping aromatic profile. 👃 On the nose: Intense notes of flambéed banana, smoky notes, candied orange, and raisins. A bouquet that recalls the sweetness of sugarcane and the complexity of short aging. 👅 On the palate: Soft and round, with a balance between sweetness and light spices. Notes of ripe banana, dark chocolate, and a slight smokiness enrich the sip. 💰 Quality-price ratio: Excellent. For those looking for a dark agricole rum with character and an affordable price of €29, this Saint Aubin is a recommended choice.

It's a decent rum, the balance is not too bad, the finish is a bit short! This rum lacks complexity. I find the pairing with a cigar quite good. It's still a rum from Mauritius.
