12.11.2005 The Den, Beijing This was my first tasting in China, where I lived for a little over 7 years. My notes. Beautiful dark colour. Woody with some prunes and anise. Palate is naturally sweet with nice spice. Wood and ABV well integrated.

This rum is actually very approachable. It is very woody on the nose and palate, and there is also some vanilla on the nose. Then on the palate there's a little leather and some oak. Cheers.

... Enmore - drive distillery, now just a functional distillation device. Probably the only wooden distillation device in the world that enjoys great popularity. Enmore rums have flavors of ash, leather, heavy wood, which especially excite lovers of smoky whiskies. And if the producer adds a bit of molasses to the rum in the traditional Guyanese way, you have a unique, very strong and heavy rum in the bottle. One of my favorites.
