Depaz Small Batch 2005
Roasted spice and nutmeg lead here, backed by nougat, dark chocolate, oak and a dried-fruit sweetness that never tips into sugary. This 14-year Depaz agricole is bottled at cask strength, so it runs hot and dark on the palate. One taster called the nose "fresh and fruity" while the mouth turns drier and spicier — a split several members noticed, though most still found the whole thing balanced and long.
- Long roasted finish
- Nougat and spice
- Real depth

How does Depaz Small Batch 2005 taste?
Aggregated from 30 community reviews.
Powerful, dry, spice-and-nougat cask-strength agricole Most find this a powerful, spice-and-wood-driven agricole with a long finish and real nougat notes. A few feel the fruity nose and dry, roasted palate don't quite line up.

Review by Rum N Cigar

This was the last rum during our trip to Amsterdam and it was also really good. Price to quality is very good in my mind. The nose is fresh and fruity with wood, cane, caramel and and spices. The palate is balanced and oily with fruits, roasted wood, spices, cane, nuts and light notes of grass. The finish is medium long with wood, tropical fruits, spices and light nutty notes.

Excellent. 😍

Excellent !
Review by TheRhumhoe
