Aroma: Smells of calvados right from the start. The smell is generally faint and not very pronounced. Sugar cane, carpet and floor polish. Taste Light, fruity and mild in the mouth, then becomes slightly spicy. Spicy on the swallow with a fruity background. Aromas of pepper, leather and caramel. Sugar cane and mint. Also apple and citrus aromas of lemonade, lemon juice and lemon zest. Finish: Medium-long and clean, yet slightly dry and quite spicy.

23.05.2020 Crazy tasting with lots of participants and a few friends. Notes Medium dark in colour. Nose Light roasted wood, clove, light apple, faint citrus, cinnamon, light herbal. Palate Light, light wood, warm, light ginger, faint nougat, light herbs, clove, citrus, light apple. Finish Medium long, light wood, fruits, spice, light nougat.

Au nez, le finish calvados ne passe pas inaperçu. Loin de là ! C’est pâtissier et légèrement boisé. Mais on sent déjà que l’on va croquer à pleine dent dans la pomme ! En bouche, c’est très rond. C’est très doux, l’alcool est parfaitement intégré. On mange une bonne tarte aux pommes de grand mamy ! Les 5 fruits et légumes quotidiens sont engloutis en quelques gorgées. Franchement, le finish calvados est clairement omniprésent mais qu’est-ce que c’est bon. Le contenu du verre disparait à grande vitesse. C’est très équilibré avec une belle longueur vanillée.
