Insgesamt finde ich den 2007 ein wenig komplexer als den 2008, wenngleich nicht viel Unterschied da ist. Besonders markant ist das der Abgang deutlich länger ist. Leider empfinde ich die schwefeligen Noten anfangs immer ein wenig schwierig.

noch mehr Tannine, sehr pelzig, sehr trocken, schöne Würze aber nicht ganz harmonisch. etwas scharf im Abgang.

An die Nase muss man sich erstmal ranriechen. Wirkt dumpf kräuterig am Anfang, mit einer seltsamen Mischung aus Kamille und einem Hauch Eukalyptus. Gleichzeitig habe ich aber auch etwas süßes von Nougatschkolade und alten Dielenbrettern. Und dann kommt abgestandener Rotwein. Auch am Gaumen habe ich diesen muffigen Anklang von abgestandem Rotwein oder Portwein. Dazu sehr kräuterig und wieder mit Kamille und etwas Eukalyptus. Im Abgang kommt mehr und mehr das grüne, grasige Zuckerrohr. Muss man sich dran gewöhnen. Dann ist es mal was anderes. Aber so ganz ist es nicht meins.

Im Abgang ganz schön viel Bitternoten. Bleibt lange auf der Zunge, aber nicht ganz angenehm, sondern eher betäubend.
