Nase: ausgewogen und rund. Am Anfang zu gleichen Teilen Vanille, Honig und Rosinen später auch würzige und rauchige Aromen vom Whiskyfass. Gaumen: ordentliche aber angenehme Präsens von Alkohol zu Beginn im Zusammenspiel mit Vanille und Honig. Dann schnell weiter zu würzigen, rauchigen Aromen. Abgang: Honig, salzig und wenige Noten bevor rauchige Aromen abschließen. Fazit: Ein nicht allzu komplexer, aber dennoch leckerer Rum mit fruchtigen Aromen und deutlichem Einfluss des Whiskyfasses.

Mein erster besserer Vertreter des spanischen Stils. Überraschend lecker. Natürlich weit weniger intensiv als die von mir gewohnten Pot Stills, aber dennoch interessante Aromen welche sich mit der Zeit in Richtung Honig und Gewürze entwickeln.
