Excellent rum! One of the best from Cuba, very complex and fine

Most helpful mixed review
Caramel and vanilla of course, wood and not much else. The aromas here are like weakened, as if the rum was slightly cut with pure alcohol. A little bit of nail polish. The first mouthfeel is weak but without impression of dilution, then the same aromas rise. The finish is too short, even if the wood and caramel stay longer. A disappointment here, it is clearly below expectations and clearly less interesting than the "Isla del Tresoro" for example. Not to mention its price.

Somewhat musty, little flavor, some wood, chocolate, but unfortunately overall relatively flat and alcoholic on the finish.

My goodness, very little happens on the nose and palate. If it were a blend, it would at least have an excuse. This is just a shame all around. 10% more and no sugar and this could be a bomb....
