Relaxing after a tough walking day. First a fast walk to work and then an extended even faster walk home. Watching the TV Series "Last Woodsmen" on HBS. Nice rum with a decent price tag at release in my mind. A fresh profile with fruits, roasted wood, olive, salt, spice and light licorice.

Fruits, spices, a little wood and a comparatively heavy sweetness, although this never gains the upper hand; the profile is certainly aromatically appealing, but unfortunately in too restrained a form. A rum that doesn't hurt anyone - which is precisely why it is only in the good mid-range for me.
