In contrast to the 40%, the intensity of the aromas has increased significantly. Wood and chocolate dominate the nose and palate. The sweetness is not quite as pronounced. In the finish, the lingering honey and light smoky notes are exciting.

Sehr viel Süße, Rosinen, Saftorangen, Gewürznelke, Nussmix, Zartbitterschoki. Selbst diese herbe Kräuternote, die hier mitschwingt, ist süß. Kräuterbonbons könnt man sagen. Kraftvoll steht ihm der Alkohol und ist wunderbar eingebunden. Extrem süffig, muss man aufpassen, macht dann auch schnell düdelig. Bei Rum stell ich mir genau sowas vor, man muss aber auch auf aufgezuckerten Rumgenuß stehn, sonst 2 much. Bei gutem Preis, werd ich wohl von dem was einlagern müssen.

The taste is powerful due to the alcohol strength of 55%, but when this settles, the taste is actually elegant with sweet notes of fruits, orange and English caramel.

I like that they let this one have a higher ABV but it's still not there yet. Still a sweet rum and I would have loved less sweetness and maybe a bit higher ABV.

This one is actually quite enjoyable. You get the typical riise flavour but with well incorporated alcohol of 55% strength. I bought a bottle of this and along with 3 others, it is my favorite from the portfolio.

Bernsteinfarbenr Spirit Drink. Geruch nach Karamell und Gewürzen, leicht Alkoholisch. Im Geschmack auch der Karamell im Vordergrund. Dazu wieder jede Menge Zucker. Bei der Menge wohl mein persönlicher Tiefpunkt. Immerhin etwas besser als der Danish Navy 40%

Compared to the "normal" Riise a bit more facets, which probably comes from the higher alcohol content. A little more power suits the Riise well and makes it a little more pleasing than the 40%. For me, nevertheless, simply much much too sweet. Nevertheless, a drinkable rum that is certainly very tasty for sweet rum lovers.

Bohatá vůně s lékořicí, mátou, pomerančovou kůrou, kokosem, papájou a eukalyptem. Nádech balzamikové redukce, černého čaje a spáleeného karamelu. Barva rumu je temně mahagonová.
