Once rested this becomes a pretty good release. Fruity and nutty with wood and very light roasted notes. I like the caramel in the profile because it's subtle but adds something to the profile. Balanced and oily on the palate and very nice curtains in the glass. The empty glass was amazing after an hour or so.

Silver Seal Panama 2001 is a rum from Panama distilled in 2001. This rum offers a nose of caramel, vanilla, wood, and honey, which is sweet and gently roasted. On the palate, notes of caramel, vanilla, and nuts appear, accompanied by a pleasant sweetness.

Very nice bottling. Best Panama for me so far. Pleasant and complex. Caramel / Wood / Cacoa / Roasted nuts some fruits and floral notes.

The nose starts with some vinegar which quickly fades, then vanilla and nuts, cocoa take over, alcoholic touch remains. In taste more nuts, milk chocolate, forest fruit, again a bit sharp. Finish not too long.

Vanilla, nut and caramel on the nose after a little rest. In the taste, the nuts, vanilla and fruit remain, with a Panamanian sweetness throughout. Although I don't really seek it out, it doesn't get in the way here. Definitely one of the best panam!

The color - like honey..yellow brown something between.. The nose - caramel, vanilla and wood and nuts The taste - sweet but not too much, like caramel and nuts..it’s not complicated….but not simple too. Little of warm alcoholic taste with touch of caramel and wood and nuts and that’s it. Finish is not long…well actually it reminds me Zacapa little bit, but even better, like next level. Personal note - I have just looked at the price tag of the bottle (I had just sample) and for me there are bottles with better price to joy ratio.
