Very intense bottling. Powerful spicy and woody notes on the nose, then on the palate the heavy Demerara sweetness paired with smoky spiciness turns the perception clearly towards Guyana. Aromatically diverse, an exciting release. A little more balance would have helped the rum to achieve an even higher rating, but even so it remains a very good rum.
