Powerful Demerara with massive oak foundation and a deep wood intensity that doesn't overwhelm. Leather and leather notes meet dark leather and espresso, while dark spices and licorice add depth. Despite 65% volume, it feels surprisingly focused, with clear structure and a robust character. A typical Enmore with rough elegance but personally way too much smoke for me.

Very intense bottling. Powerful spicy and woody notes on the nose, then on the palate the heavy Demerara sweetness paired with smoky spiciness turns the perception clearly towards Guyana. Aromatically diverse, an exciting release. A little more balance would have helped the rum to achieve an even higher rating, but even so it remains a very good rum.
