Vanilla and caramel up front, backed by butterscotch and honey — but there's a chemical, nail-polish edge several tasters kept noticing. One member summed it up as "a bit artificial, very sweet." Shop visit Rum Paradise Hamburg April 2025. Not a really appealing rum. On the nose we have vanilla, caramel and honey. On the palate as well. However, it is really biting alcoholic. The alcohol overwhelms the taste a lot.

The nose is very weak and dominated by alcohol and some vanilla. At the palate and during the rather short finish nothing changes except that there is a taste of caramel and lots of sugar. Hard to believe that it’s aged for seven true years. Can’t recommend it !

At first on the nose a lot of nail polish remover accompanied by sweet fruit liqueur or chewing gum, possibly cherry. After a while, nuts come in. This association with liqueur or chewing gum continues on the palate, where it is also somewhat bitter. Also, it always tastes somehow stale...

It's a simple, rather southern rum. The smell is pleasant but nothing special, the alcohol tickles a bit in the nose. In the mouth it starts mild with vanilla and spices but then the alcohol comes through a bit disturbingly. Maybe suitable for mixing.

Weird rum. Some caramel and hit of chemical/synthetic, but all other rum I drink after this chemical hit have some fruits, esters or something else, here? Nothing new just slowly fading away this is not bad, but weird. I like this rum, but if I have to say something about it it would be eccentric
