T.D.L Plantation Trinidad Grand Terroir 2008
Reviews land in a friendly middle: pleasant and easy, but nobody's calling it deep. Expect honey, vanilla and a fruity lift, with raisin and a little wood underneath. Several tasters like the "sehr schöne natürliche Süße" — a natural honeyed sweetness rather than sticky caramel — while others find the 42% a bit intrusive and the whole thing a touch flat and simple.

How does T.D.L Plantation Trinidad Grand Terroir 2008 taste?
Aggregated from 51 community reviews.
Easy honey-vanilla sipper, pleasant but simple Well-liked as an easy honey-and-vanilla sipper, but many say it's simple, a little too sweet or flat, and the alcohol can feel intrusive. Enjoyable, not exciting.

Simple but good...

A very nice natural sweetness - not sticky caramel, but nice honey and surprisingly fruity. Not complex, but still like again...

A little too sweet and also flat. Am used to much better from plantation

Store visit Rum Paradise Hamburg April 2025. Here is a rather poor Plantation. On the nose we have honey, vanilla and wood. Also honey and vanilla on the palate, but also quite fruity. However, I find the alcohol disturbing.
Review by Daniel

Had it after a better dinner at Såstaholms castle outside Stockholm. It’s a little better than OK, but I will not buy it cause I’ve decided to avoid Plantation/Plantarey in the future because of how they act about GI’s.
