Tasting the 2020 version. Very fruity in the nose. A bit timid though. Taste: plums. Abricot. Powdered sugar. Light. A bit timid still. Too timid. I know these T.D.L.s can be real powerhouses. Everythings stays in the background. Probably not the best choice to water it down to 45%. Enjoyable though. Will try again soon.

This rum is from a secret destillery and its definitely not a Caroni. The nose is really nice and balanced with fruit and honey topped with a bit of oak. The palate has a lot more to offer than the nose and equally wonderful. A lot of fruit and sweetness from sugarcane with a tad of barrel. The finish is medium to long with orange and molasses.

Peu de fruits de bois et surtout une finale bcp trop courte (et sans menthol). j’ai enchainé sur 3 rhums de « Moon Import ». Bon à savoir : les rhums de la sélection Moon Import sont issus de fûts d'origine, vieillis en Ecosse et sélectionnés individuellement et embouteillés au même endroit. - « Remember Guyana, 45% » > A chaud : caramel, vanille, assez salé, un peu de bois. J’ai apprécié l’équilibre et la douceur. - « Remember Trinidad, 45% » > Vanille, caramel, très boisé, une pointe d’orange ? J’avoue qu’étant fan de TDL sales des années 2000 et des notes mentholées, je n’y ai pas retrouvé mes marqueurs habituels. - « Remember Venezuela, 45% » > Un beau dessert aux fruits confit, à la banane, et des notes de chocolat. Un super deal autour de 50€ pour accompagner un dessert, sans aucun doute.

L’ho trovata una bevuta un po’ scarica. Probabilmente con un grado più alto avrebbe reso di più. Al palato è molto timido. È a 45 gradi ma sembrano addirittura 40.
