The nose is outstanding. It explodes in fruits, spices, cherrylike notes with a hint of glue. The taste is initially like light caramel and honey the takes a U-turn to cherrry sorbet and then again sets off to mango/flower world. It all end up with a looooooong finish of medicinal character and a well integrated warming alcohol. One og the best rum we’ve had so far.
Would have loved more taste from the cask itself. Maybe they have used very old used rum casks.
