Rather simple ron, caramel sweet on the nose with some végétal notes. Same in the mouth, not so sweet. Final is short, slightly vegetal and dry. This was recommended by a shop owner to a relative as something special and not ordinary. This is a hard pass for me, nothing special here.

Not as bad as the reviews say. It’s nothing special, but also nothing particularly bad. Definitely wood and a certain spiciness are noticeable, on the palate also vanilla and chocolate can be detected.

Read full review →I wouldn’t really recommened it but its not a terrible drink per say. I know of at least one rum enthusiast who really doesn't like this. Me I don't mind it, though it is a bit weird.
