Spirits Museum Tasting 29th of March 2025. A lively and fresh nose, vegetal with pineapple and other fruits. The palate is very fruity and more spicy than the nose, vanilla, pepper and mint. The wood is also more present. The finish is a bit short with fruits, wood and dry herbs.

Quite far ahead in the tasting round of 70s and 80s vintage bottlings. Very round, zero alcoholic sharpness, complex, with a wonderful subtle sweetness. The sweetness remains present throughout drinking without overpowering, the other aromas skillfully play off each other... this just makes a lot of fun!

Another older tasting where I forgot to write down which bar in Copenhagen we tried it. Well balanced and fruity rum with nice wood and spices. Lightly dry on the palate but natural sweetness come sates for that. Noted that it's fresh and I like the floral notes.

On the nose fascinating and creamy with wood, mixed dried fruits, other red and yellow fruits, floral, some delicate spices and in the background a slight sweetness rounding it all off. On the palate it is soft and delicate wrapped in creamy and floral sweetness, finely toasted wood, coconut, dried fruits, citrus and a bit of pepper. Unfortunately, the finish is short and ephemeral. Oscillates between 8.6 and 8.7

Wonderful old-school agricole, wonderfully balanced and despite only 45% with a nice creamy mouthfeel. A great rum, at cask strength this would definitely be an absolute dream.
