La Favorite Millésime 2009
Grassy freshness, oak and a peppery kick sit at the core of this 2009 La Favorite agricole, with vanilla and a little dried fruit and citrus around the edges. Several tasters find it balanced and typical of the style, but the nose runs light — one member had to warm it in the glass and rest it before much came through. Fruity, fresh, only lightly dry.

How does La Favorite Millésime 2009 taste?
Aggregated from 19 community reviews.
Fresh, woody Martinique agricole, quietly aromatic Well-liked cane-juice agricole — woody, fresh and spicy with good balance. The recurring gripe is a faint, low-intensity nose; a few call it nice but not exciting.

After resting this one it gets really nice. I Unfortunately the price doesn't match what you pour. Still very fruity and fresh with spices and wood. Only very lightly dry.
Review by Daniel

Good but not wow. Nice woody taste, some fruits and spices.

This is my first “La Favorite”, and sorry to say I’m not impressed. The nose is extremely weak, hard to recognize any aroma at all, not even after warmed up in my hands. In mouth it’s the same initially, but after resting a while it’s was possible to recognize the tastes. The finish is quite long and tastes the same as at the palate.
