This is a release celebrating the 60th anniversary of La Maison du Whisky (LMDW). And a good one. An amazing nose well rounded and full af flavour. The palate is complex and floral with a herbal and chocolate hint to it. The finish is long and very well balanced with well integrated proof. Very rare bottle which makes it very expensive.

31.3.2025 - unicorn night. And we'll start right off the bat. A bottle that opens very rarely and I'm lucky to have a friend who opened it and gave me a sample. Surprisingly complex and very technical nose for Barbados, reminding me of Rockley style. I don't think I would have guessed Barbados in a blind tasting. The palate is more distinctive, sweetness, spices and wood dominate, yet flowers and solvents also appear. Long beautiful finish. I'm not a fan of Barbados, but this is great.
