A vintage rum, a bottle opened for a very long time. More than 10 years I think. So I am a bit less harsh. A Jamaican nose with light funk but especially tropical fruits. A very diluted mouth but interesting as if there were very good rums but diluted with water. A surprisingly persistent finish with a beautiful fruit. A very light rum but I like it.

Franchement pas impressionné par ce jus, c’est pas mal fait mais très simple, le classique jamaïcain jeune avec des fruits et un peu de caramel, mais clairement moins fougueux qu’un smith and cross, après c’est à peu près le même prix.. en cocktail sûrement intéressant.

Tried at the 12th GRF, at Catawiki: A somewhat boring Jamaican, but 1960 is simply history, you have to try it!
