14.08.2020 Relaxing meet up at a local restaurant for food and rum. Notes Medium dark in colour. Nose rum Light wood, round, faint roasted, fruity, apricot, light medicinal. Palate Light, light wood, fruity, peach, light citrus, light vegetal, mineral. Finish Medium long, light wood, faint smoke, fruits, spice, medium dry, light floral.

The rhum is very fine bubbly in the glass, beautiful color. The nose is complex with licorice and wood. If you give the rhum some time, then you get a nice fruity nose. The taste is round with some spiciness, the spices assert themselves. The finish is dry, with a grassy note. A very nice rhum, pleasantly mild and dry. Can also be drunk well as an aperitif or digestive.

The nose is very seductive and fragrant. A very fruity and particularly warm nose. It leans towards candied fruits. Added to that is a seductive woodiness and a hint of pepper. All covered with a touch of honey! On the palate, it’s dense and perfectly balanced, offering a beautiful bouquet of candied fruits. Not to forget a smooth empyreumatic profile (tobacco – wood). Some spicier notes on the finish make it more lively. This is clearly a daily pleasure, a perfectly balanced rum that you can drink without hassle. The only downside is a lack of length. In conclusion, a magnificent nose, a beautiful palate but it fades too quickly. A nice representation of Martinique with a very successful Q/P ratio for a 16-year-old!

Beautiful gold. Fresh, grassy and spicy. The nose is dominated by "yellow" and tropical fruits. Complex and well integrated, good strength despite the 43%. Very nice! On the palate then a bit wild and unbalanced. Woody spice, gingerbread, fruits. Long finish, it gets better again there. Spicy, gingerbread in fruits. The 2013 Brut de fut (dried vs. tropical fruits) is stronger, more balanced on the palate and better. Still a very good Agricole with a nice nose and nice finish.

Pleasant, nice and very smooth rum. Lately I've been finding my way to vintage and aged agricole rums and like to taste each of them. In taste and nose there is classic agri floral notes, and a gentle experience in the mouth.
