Poured neat, this is a slow, contemplative Port Mourant: heaps of prune on the nose, then chocolate, old leather, oak and molasses on the palate. The 37 years show as a deep, full body with just a touch of sweetness and a bitter edge some love and some find a bit much. One taster called the finish one that "snap never ends," with the alcohol almost invisible.

Inspiring rum. Bottled at just the right time before it turns bitter. Tastes like a 94 REV only better. Great woody notes, eternal finish. Comprehensive creaminess and even a slight sweetness despite its great age. Wow!

Thanks to DomM for the birthday sample. After I could also sponsor the 75er PM from Velier, it was a comparison on a very high level, probably only about subjective nuances. After I had the Cadenhead 64 in the glass before, I couldn't really find any big differences. All super delicious, complex drops of the gods.

One day, and it won't be long, we'll only be able to remember rums like this. Beautiful, complex nose. But the taste. Chocolate, bark, wood and plums. A finish that seems endless and alcohol? As if it wasn't there.

Amazing old wood, leather and brown fruit. Full body, integrated alcohol. Unfortunately the taste least in mouth just for about 5 mins. Parametr for improvement :)

So this is heaven in the mouth. Even the dark mahogany color hints at what you're going to drink. Tons of dried plums, wood, very dark chocolate and yet softness, fullness and a very long tannin finish. Really awesome!
