Great release. The profile convinces with the heavy sweetness of dried fruits, fully ripe peaches, mangoes, and apricots, accompanied by the typical Foursquare notes of coconut, vanilla, and caramel along with a nice allspice spice. The finishing has worked excellently; Foursquare in a Sauternes cask is an absolute match. For me, a highlight of the SCC series.

Passable Foursquare but overall the alcohol could really be better integrated and the aroma is personally too much like overly brewed burnt coffee for me...

Alcohol could be a bit better integrated. But taste-wise one of the more interesting Foursquare. The finish adds additional yellow fruits that enhance the rum.
