Had a 5 cl sample from Rum Ratings Tasting Club for this tasting. The short aging, 18 Months, in oak have made great impact on this rum. I tasted it neat, but it will probably also be great in cocktails and ti-punch’s. Overall I would say that this is the best Rhum Ambre (1-2 years aging) I’ve tasted so far.

Ambers are not a category I'm particularly fond of, apart from Longueteau's Prélude, but this one is one of the best Martiniquais, despite its horrible packaging.

Thanks to Rum Rating for this sample! Typical agricole rum with some lovely earth notes and a cool minty note. Very light body, diluted, soft, nothing special. Good rum to start your agricole adventure.

Got this one from an earlier forum. I found it to be earthy and typical agricole sugarcane on the nose, with almost an agave scent. Taste is also agave-like and sugarcane fruity. Would be interesting as a mixer
