Smells interesting. From flower honey and a little cane to rubber and smoke. Tastes fruity. Light, but fun. Honey and spice.

Vůně mi přijde hodně schovaná. Trochu ovoce, vanilka a květiny. Chuťově lehké, sladká skořice, propsaný sud, koření, ovoce a agricole prvky. Závěr agricole tóny, vanilka se skořicí, lehce zemitost a sušené ovoce.

24 Days of Rum 2024 - Black Edition - Day 17 Erster Eindruck: sehr lieblich und komplex Nase: außergewöhnlich angenehm, Vanille, Heu, Leder, Tabak und dabei sehr frisch und jung und gereift gleichzeitig. Beeindruckend Gaumen: Vanille, gereifte Gräser, Holz, Tabak, schön komplex zwischen Jugend und Reife Abgang: mittelkurz, Aromen von Nase und Gaumen in einer warmen Verlängerung Gesamteindruck: einer der ganz wenigen Agricoles, die mich positiv stimmen. Schöner Sipper und sicher auch spannend in fruchtigen Mixern.

Short trip to Reunion September 2024 Then at least 2 decent rums are needed. Here's the Grande Reserve from Riviere du Mat. Spicy and smoky, as well as some caramel on the nose. On the palate, some vanilla is added to the spice and smoke.

Un bon rhum. Nez plutôt intéressant mais trop discret. Un peu de réglisse ? Attaque plus franche qu'attendue. Alcool bien intégré avec quand même un peu de punch. Beaucoup d'épices, belle complexité du fût. Finale un peu courte

Bought three different Rivière du Mat, produced in Reunion, during my drive down to Spain. This is the third and last I open, a traditionnel Rhum Vieux. Haven’t found out the aging, but I estimate it to around 4 years. Overall a quite good rum that’s definitely better than the Ambre and the Royal Reserve because of its deeper character and longer finish.

Als nächstes der Riviere du mat Grande Reserve aus dem Adventskalender. In der Nase sehr fruchtig. Pfirsich ist hier sehr dominant. Im Geschmack auch ein bisschen süßer nach Früchten. Kann man trinken

Príjemný rum z ostrova Reunion. Vôňa je svieža, sladkastá s náznakom drevitých a rastlinných tónov. V chuti je rovnako nasládly pripomínajúci vanilku a tropické ovocie. Následne prechádza do kvetinových až bylinných tónov ktoré su ohraničené príjemnou drevitosťou. Je veľmi jemný v chuti no zároveň je výrazný v tom aké chute ponúka, čo je veľké plus. Dochuť je ovocná až priam vanilková.

Coconut, vanilla and perfume. Some apricot. The mixture here is nice and balanced, and this rum is overall pleasant with subtle flavors. Light golden pour. A hint of nail varnish. 24 days of rum calendar day #17.
