Es hat etwas gedauert, bis der Split zustande gekommen ist, aber das Warten hat sich gelohnt. Ein süßer Vertreter aus Trinidad, der an der Nase mit viel Kokosnuss daherkommt. Nach einigen Minuten kommt eine leichte Veilchennote durch. Am Gaumen ist von der Kokosnuss nichts mehr zu merken, hier ist er Pfefferig scharf mit einer leichten Süße. Auch hier nehme ich feine Spuren Veilchen war. Im Abgang dann leicht holzig und weich. Alkohol sehr gut eingebunden. Der "versteckte Caroni" ist es nicht, aber ein toller TDL.

Für mich eine sehr gelungene Abfüllung. Bringt mehr mit, als ich mir von dem Rum erwartet habe. Im Vergleich hatte ich nochmal den No.54 von Romdeluxe im Glas, was zwar ein ganz andere Jahrgang ist, aber als Fazit muss ich sagen, dass mit dieser um einiges besser geschmeckt hat. Für den Preis echt super.

Leider recht alkoholisch. Ansonsten kommen diese weichen 91er TDLs ja immer ganz gut weg. So auch dieser. Mit den dreckigen Minz 2000ern hat das hier nichts zu tun.
