TRC Travellers Belize MBT 2006
Most tasters land around the low-8s on this 11-year Travellers from The Rum Cask, and the surprise is how mild it drinks for 63.2%. Expect glue and solvent up front, then vanilla, caramel and an unusual floral violet streak, with red fruits and grilled pineapple underneath. A few find it a touch spirity and heavy on cask; one called it almost "Barbados-like" in its soft, woody side.
- Mild despite ABV
- Floral violet note
- Vanilla and caramel

Mild for the proof, vanilla-floral and woody People like this one for being gentler than its high ABV suggests, with vanilla, caramel and a curious floral note. A couple find it slightly spirity and a bit oak-dominant.

14.12.2018 A nice relaxing evening with good food and rums galore. Notes. Dark in colour. Nose: fresh, wood, roasted, coffee, nutty, banana, spice. Palate: round, oily, wood, spicy, glue, medium dry, light smoke. Finish: medium long, wood, tobacco, earthy, dried fruit.

Solid Spaniard with an exciting hazelnut note. But a tad too tangy for me.
