Epic Velier Caroni Tasting 2023: Schönes, süffiges Light-Profil nahezu ohne die Caroni-typischen schweren Aromen. Sehr ausgewogen und damit ausgesprochen angenehm zu trinken; auch bei den leichten Rums hat Caroni exzellente Arbeit geleistet.

I love LTR. It is mild with half Demerara taste and half Caroni. I even smell in nose molasses and sweetnes on tongue

Light is true with this release. The traditional flavours are kind of missing, so no tar and rubber, which I have later come to like. The nose is woody with vanilla, varnish and banana. The palate is woody and kind of fruity with vanilla and chocolate and a light mineral note. The finish is medium long and woody with chocolate, vanilla and orange.
